Considering that I'd coached Haleigh for two years, and provided tips and pointers for another six month on top of that, it was only appropriate that I attend her district qualifying meet. Haleigh swam well, though not as well as I know she could have; meets are hard for her. She's excellent in practice, but there's some disconnect between practice and meets that was finally overcome this past year. Haleigh did qualify for districts, and she did well at districts.
