Here's just a quick smattering of photographs to come.
Update: 2010 Sept 30
Yesterday evening I finished my initial sorting and editing of photographs. And as I was sorting, I realized that the second time the Big Hitters did the swing number there were five couples. Note that there were four couples in the dance the first time around. I mentioned this to my sister, and for some reason she found this to be quite amusing. It only took me four days to figure it out. When I'm photographing dances, my concern is keeping dancers within the frame, not how many people are on stage from one performance to another on the same day.
It was a beautiful day, and it made for great performances and good conversation. The quote of the day goes to T-Bone: "Where's Micah? He's probably taking a bone-head picture of me." That bone-head picture of T-Bone was taken during the preceding sentence, and is included in this series. It should not be too hard to spot.
