Just yesterday I got my photographs from Open Mic Night @ Kerry's Green on Aug 16, 2011 uploaded and posted online. It was a great night of music and conversation for all. Keep in mind that all my posted photographs are for sale as prints and as digital files. Enjoy the photographs!

B*Dazzled Dance Show - 2pm

Well, it's been a month, but I've just finished going through my photographs from the second dance show of the day. Quite a few good photographs in this set, if I do say so myself. But enough of what I think, as it's been long enough. You're after the photographs!

B*Dazzled Dance Show - 10am

An excellent dance show! This year the shows were held in the new intermediate school, which made was a new venue for the studio, so we all learned the building as we went. The show went quite well, and all the dances were well received. Once of the dancers somehow managed to persuade me to let her borrow my camera for awhile... still not quite sure how that happened. But it's all good. She did take some good photographs, though you'll have to contact her to see them. On to the photographs!

B*Dazzled Elements Show Rehearsal

Another B*Dazzled show rehearsal has come and gone. The rehearsal went quite well, I thought. And even though I'm a fairly big person, I'm still able to blend into the background pretty well when I choose to (as certain individuals tend to forget). Which just makes some of the photographs that I'm able to capture that much more amusing. 'tis all in good, clean fun. Enjoy the photographs!

Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday was interesting. One person fainted during the church service, so I wound up outside for awhile helping them. My sister's dance went well, once the worship team decided exactly how they were going to play the song, but that's a normal occurrence. Afterwards was a get together of church friends for a few hours before we all went our separate ways to family dinners. Photographs from the day can be found here. Enjoy!

Swim Banquet

An excellent banquet to bring the swim season to an official close. Everyone had an excellent season, and the banquet celebrated just that. There were lots of laughs, much reminiscing, and eagerness for the future. I have to give a shout out to Alyson and her family for putting together the excellent slideshow! Kate

This is one of the swimmers I got to talking with at the PIAA District 3 meet. Kate is a freshman swimming independently, and from the looks of things, she will go far in her swimming career.

Dover @ PIAA District 3

Dover moved up from AA to AAA this year, and still had an excellent District 3 meet, in which they medaled several times. All the swims were excellent, and one could tell that all the training a preparation paid off. Photographs of the Dover swimmers are now online. Enjoy!

PIAA District 3 Swim Meet

Susquehannock did quite well at the PIAA District 3 swim meet, which was held last last Friday & Saturday. The swimmers went after every race, and gave it their all. With the end result being that 16 swimmers competed in 10 events and improved their times in 6 of those events!

Dover YAIAA Championships

I've known Dover's head swimming coach for quite a few years. This year, as his usual photographer was unable to attend the YAIAA Championship Meet, I was asked to fill in. I happily obliged. It was always fun to complete against Dover, and it's been a blast to photograph the Dover swimmers and coaches. Enjoy the photographs!

The second day of championships brought more good swims all around. Along with the good swims came some interesting facial expressions, which I had fun capturing. Photographs are here.

YAIAA Championships - Day 1

Susquehannock took quite a few swimmers to the league championship meet this year. And they all did well. For me, it was a nice change to be shooting in a natatorium with respectable lighting. I had to make a few changes, as with taking swimming photographs I'm not used to having that much light available. On to the photographs!

Last Practice

Just a couple of quick photographs from the end of the last practice of the dual meet season.

Susquehannock vs. New Oxford

The last meet of the season went well. Excellent swims all around, and alot of thumbs up by the swimmers. And, in keeping with long standing traditions, the coaches were tossed in once the meet was over. On to the photographs!

Susquehannock vs. West York

The meet against West York is always a good meet. Primarily because West York typically has a strong team with good depth. It's also an interesting meet for me because I competed with their Head Coach back in high school. Photographs can be found here.

Susquehannock vs. York Suburban

A home meet for York Suburban is always a tough meet, even with a good team. YS has a four lane pool, which reduces the number of scoring opportunities from 3 to 2 for each race. With less opportunity for point accumulation, every swimmer has to be on their game. It's always a great meet, because YS is a really good team and has some excellent swimmers. It's also a good prep for the league meet and district competition, as the YS boys have been state champions three times in the past ten years, and their girls team regularly advances several to districts and states.
