A home meet for York Suburban is always a tough meet, even with a good team. YS has a four lane pool, which reduces the number of scoring opportunities from 3 to 2 for each race. With less opportunity for point accumulation, every swimmer has to be on their game. It's always a great meet, because YS is a really good team and has some excellent swimmers. It's also a good prep for the league meet and district competition, as the YS boys have been state champions three times in the past ten years, and their girls team regularly advances several to districts and states. Enough of that, now for photographs!
South Western Relays
Ah yes, the South Western Relay Swim Meet. This is one of the best meets out there in my opinion. After all, how often does one have the opportunity to do a relay start from the block and cork-screw up into backstroke in competition? The Warriors swam quite well and had a blast, both in the pool and in the gym. Enjoy!

Susquehannock vs. Dover
The meet was a good one. Some interesting changes to the line-up based on the results of the last meet, which was neat to watch. 'tis always fun to photograph facial expressions and mannerisms of swimmers, and this meet was no exception. Enjoy the photographs!

Big HItters @ York Sports Night
I think everyone at York Sports Night had a good time. From what I understand, it usually draws more of a crowd, but with the football match-ups that were being played out on TV, the smaller crowd is understandable. Photographs are here, and a video of the Big Hitters is here.

Susquehannock vs. Northeastern
This was the first meet this season that I was really impressed with. To be sure, there have been some great swims, some close races, and some good rivalries thus far. But this was the first time that I'd seen the team as a whole on top of their game and going after their races and events like the coaches and I know they are capable of. And to top the night off, it was their first win this season. Way to go Warriors! Photographs from the meet are here.

B*Dazzled Show 2
I'll have the rest of the photographs from the show posted online as soon as I get through them. In the meantime, here's a few that jumped out to me as I scanned through them quick.
Update: 2011 Mar 8:
I just finished going through my photographs from the second dance show, and here they are! Enjoy!

B*Dazzled Show 1
A quick selection of the photographs from the show. More to come!
Update: 2011 Jan 22
I finally got through my photographs from the show. I typically have had them up quicker, but much of my time the past few weeks has been spend working on DVD's of the shows. Anyway, enough of the explanations. Here's the photographs. Enjoy!

B*Dazzled Rehearsal
Here's a quick preview of more photographs to come.
This was probably the best dance rehearsal I've been at. In addition to being well organized, there were a few occassions that the rehearsal was running about 10 minutes ahead of schedule (which is a first in my experience). Anywho, on to the photographs!

Susquehannock vs. Spring Grove
This was a good meet for Susquehannock. They swam tired, which was a first for most of the swimmers. Instead of swimming their usual 1500-1700 yards on the day before a meet, they swam 4000 yards. That's quite a difference. And even swimming tired like that, there were some really good swims and some excellent times. Photographs from the meet can be found here.
